Distributor-level sales data releases came to an end in the spring of 2022, when Diamond Comic Distributors ceased releasing monthly information following its April report. As analyzing this source of information was the main contribution of Comichron to its annual joint report with ICV2, we stepped away from the project. ICV2 ran the calculations for 2022 on its own, as seen here:

Follow the link for the full ICV2 report, which found total comics and graphic novel sales to consumers in the United States and Canada to be around $2.16 billion, an increase of 4%.

While Comichron's contribution to the project has concluded, the previous years of the joint report will remain on the Comichron site.
