Thor #1 helped Marvel top its Top 300 unit and dollar performance from May, making it the company's best month in the category since 1996. Marvel’s Top 300 Comics unit and dollar sales were slightly higher than in May 2007, breaking that month’s 11-year record in those two categories.

After this month, Diamond returned to releasing the dollar sales rankings for comics ranked between #101 and #300 on the charts.
