Witchblade/Tomb Raider finally broke Uncanny X-Men's hold on the top spot in a year that closed down considerably.
As in November, Billy Tucci's Battlebooks, which were comics-sized games were not classed with games by Diamond, but rather with comics — and under the name of their Marvel licensor. While their original locations have been retained below, only comics have been counted toward the aggregated comics and market share figures at left.
Diamond did release dollar rankings for the Top 250 comics; these will be added at a later date.
