A minor wave of stunt pricing
began with Batman: The 10 Cent Adventure, which added 700,000 copies to the overall total. Diamond ran it in its Top 300 as the top seller, but the distirbutor would later revise its practices, not listing anything priced below $1. We present the data for the Batman issue below, but have removed its ordinal unit sales ranking; Wolverine: The Origin was the month's real top-selling normally-priced comic.
