The Distribution Wars had all but finished in June, as Archie's exclusive distribution agreement with Diamond began. Its comics would still be available on newsstands.
Kingdom Come #2 was the top dollar book of the month. Retailers got a chance to order something Marvel from Diamond, as Badrock/Wolverine and Prophet/Cable came out from Image.

Marvel, new Viz items, Kitchen Sink, and Coppervale were not distributed by Diamond this month.
Diamond was the only distributor carrying DC, Dark Horse, Image, Acclaim, Chaos, Sirius, Crusade, Gemstone, London Night, Goblin, Event, Archie, and Broadway comics, as well as Wizard's magazines.
